MUMBAI: By clearing the JEE Mains you have proven that you have the ability to make it to India's premier engineering institutes. Now, you should focus on making sure that you are at your absolute best as June 2 approaches. If I had to select one piece of advice that would be most useful, it would be to relax. I have seen many brilliant students not able to perform their best because they were crippled by worry.
The first thing you should do is to make a plan for the days leading up to the exam. Take mock tests every three to four days. Thoroughly evaluate your performance and identify your strong and weak areas. Identify not only those topics in which you got questions wrong, but also those questions you spent a lot of time on. Put them down on a chart in your study room so that you have clear focus areas to improve on. Make a schedule where you are extensively covering not more than one or two topics a day. Keep updating your focus chart with every mock test.
