Last minute tips for JEE Advanced 2013

Dear friend,

The hour of reckoning is approaching fast. A few words of advice to help you align your body and brain
to the ways of the JEE. This should surely help you in maximizing the output that you could give.

Body

Set your biological clock as per the need of hour. Go to bed by 10:00 PM and be up and running by
6:00 AM in the morning. The idea is to be totally fresh by the time JEE starts.
Train your body to give maximum output between 08:40 AM - 12:00 Noon and 01:40 PM - 05:00 PM,
the duration of the JEE. Stop sleeping during the daytime.

Brain

Do not start with any new problems or assignments.
Revise only what you have done till now.
Solve the older assignments (mainly old Test papers) in the 8:40 AM to 6:00 PM time frame, the time
for the JEE.

Things To Avoid:

Avoid talking to your friend/relative/elders who are emotional/depressive type.
Avoid discussions about study matter, with your parents/friends.
Avoid talking/listening to anybody during break in JEE on 2nd June, 2013.


Things To follow:

Listen to some good music (mainly instrumental) to rejuvenate yourself.
In the evening, go for a walk for 30 minutes.
Whenever feel stressed (tensed), do deep breathing for 15 minutes.
If your JEE Advanced centre is near to your house, it advised to go back to your house during break
between Paper 1 and Paper 2 ; if not, locate a park near exam centre have a rest there.
We firmly believe that you can make it to the IITs.
