JEE advanced results 2013: Tips for students

Candidates who are eagerly waiting for the IIT-JEE (advanced) results 2013 on June 23 should relax as the date of the results is fast approaching.

According to Psychologist Arti Vadnerkar students should remain calm and patience. Students should also interact with their parents. She also recommends that students who are not able to clear the exams can also explore other career options.Students should focuses on positive thinking and focuses on reducing anxiety.

The exam was held on April 7. IIT-JEE  is the first step in getting into the IITs, ISM Dhanbad and many other institutes across the country.

Now the IIT aspirants will need to score 30 per cent more to get admission to the institute.

The cut-off marks for admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology have been increased due to the top-20 percentile norm introduced by the Centre.

The 50% of Boards marks will be normalized by equating percentile amongst different boards/examining bodies and anchoring them to All India JEE Main percentiles, and 50% be normalized by equating each Board’s/examining Body’s percentile with JEE(Main) percentile marks of respective Boards /examining bodies.
