Breaking previous records, city students have shown their mettle with securing two positions in top 10 ranks in IIT-JEE (Advanced). Two students Anand Bharaskar and Pranjal Khare have secured AIR-3 and AIR-10 rank in IIT-JEE, results of which were declared on Friday evening. Bharaskar's elder brother too is an IITian. He had got AIR-13 in IIT JEE in 2008.
Both the students now aspire to study computer science at IIT-B. The duo had secured above 94% in CBSE class XII examination. Bharaskar is AIR-1 holder in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) while Khare secured AIR- 101 in the KVPY.
