Abacus Institute of Engineering & Management is located in the semi urban greeny environment, at MOGRA, which is the centre of industrial belt of Hooghly on the western side of the river Ganges. Mogra is well connected with Kolkata via Delhi Road and G. T. Road. It is only 1.5 km from Mogra Railway Station on Howrah-Burdwan main line.
History
The institute was established in the Bandel-Mogra Town in 2008 by Chinsurah Abacus Educational Society comprising a team of dedicated people with a view to creating a centre of excellence for imparting high quality Technical Education.

The training and placement cell co-ordinates with the various industries organizations and institutions for placement of the students and helps in developing the industry-academic inter-relationship.
